Relaxing in Tunesia

I took some days off for vacation. No stress - destination just needed to be:

  1. warm
  2. good weather all days
  3. good food
  4. nice beach

So I went to Tunesia in the north of Africa. Tunesia is surrouded by Algeria in the west, and Lybia in the south. The remainder is the Mediterranean See in the North and East. I took my Sony Alpha 6000 with me and made some good shots ( well - to me these are good shots). See yourself and - maybe this is a trigger for your next vacation in Africa…

These guys were alway strolling at the beach, looking for tourist who want to have a ride :-)

Dromedar at the beach

This little guy here was checking out his neighbourhood. I saw him on the grass because he was not changing colour at all. I took some photos with a Tele ( well, only 200mm) and was pretty close to him. He was cool and just kept one eye on me.

Look me in the eyes baby

This was my favourite spot at this location. Kind of a bar with Shishas and some hot spicy tea. The colours are really sensational. There was always a breeze from the sea - which made it really a cool spot.

Very nice vacation, but as always to short. And - before you really realize the beauty of the country - you are at the airport and you wait for your flight home….well first you wait for the plane …

Bike to Work - now this is getting serious

So, taking a long time thinking about buying a E-Bike for my daily commute, I finally did it. Yesterday my ordered Giant Quick E+ arrived at the dealer. I've got a email message and almost couldn't wait for picking it up. The bike supports me till  around 45km/h. This way I can almost go with 33-35 km/h in average. This means almost one hour faster, than with my "normal" mountainbike on my commute.  My commute is about 46 km one way - so, going by my normal mountain bike was sometimes hard. However - I love to ride my bike, therefore I figured - ok - with an E-Bike you are faster but - to be fast, you need to pedal as you do before with your normal bike. This means still sports 😊.  Here we go:  As I live in Germany - I need to insure this bike. Here it is seen as a small motorbike because of the support till 45 km/h. Weitwinkel Sonnenaufgang --- 365 Tage Fotoprojekt -- Tag 59

Sonnenaufgang 6:41 Uhr. Homeoffice. Bin gerade am email sichten. Mein Frau aus der Küche . “Hm, der Himmel ist ganz dunkel rot dahinten…”. Braucht kurz einen Moment bis das Gehörte ins Gehirn dringt - und bei dem Fotografen in mir ankommt. Ich drehe mich um und schaue aus dem Fenster. Tatsächlich. Der Horizont ist dunkelrot gefärbt. Das sieht gut aus - sehr gut sogar. Aber ich habe nur Homeoffice Comfy Sachen an ( also schlabberigerer JoggingAnzug samt BadHair Day). Egal - die alpha geschnappt. Weitwinkel ist noch drauf. Ab ins Auto, Scheibe kratzen ?, nein so kalt war es die Nacht doch nicht. Auf eine etwas erhöhte Stelle gefahren. Aber die Zeit ist gegen mich. Das dunkelrote ist schon einem orange gewichen. Sehr kurze Zeitspanne die da nur bleibt. Schade. Auch die Umgebung gibt jetzt nicht soviel her. Bleibt der Himmel. Running 02.07.2017

Today I was running in the morning, flat terrain, flat pace, almost flat heartrate. Need to loose weight. Besides increasing sports overall, I need to seriously check my daily calorie intake - and what I eat for this intake. Today I do eat to much carbos - and to less protein. I try to turn this around.
